Welcome to the Foster Home! We are Joe and Kristie Foster of Hardisty, Alberta, Canada. A few years ago we decided to combine Joe's love of hunting and Kristie's love of working with dogs. The search started for the perfect versatile hunting breed to be Joe's companion in the field. We also needed a friendly and gentle pet to fit in with our family of five. After some extensive research we finally decided on the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon and we haven't looked back since. We welcomed "Foster Home's Wild Rose" (kennel name Mavis) into our lives in the winter of 2012. After a little experience in the field, and a lot of love, Mavis became exactly what we were looking for. She is now three years old and we've decided to try our hand at breeding. Puppies will be CKC registered and will be adopted by active, hunting families. We are very excited about this new endeavor!
