The Elora Environment Centre is a not-for-profit organization focused on providing leadership in community-based environmental initiatives for both urban and rural communities. We are a registered charity and a founding member of Green Communities Canada.
Presently, we specialize in home energy evaluations & EnerGuide Assessments, along with urban forestry evaluations. We also work with utilities to offer the Home Assistance Program to Festival Hydro and Goderich Hydro customers.
As a non-profit organization we can offer independent and unbiased advice with a clear dedication and commitment to the environment.
We our proud of our partnerships and relationships we have developed in communities and as part of the Green Communities Canada alliance, we receive support of municipalities, local businesses, utilities and citizens groups.
NeighbourWoods on the Grand is a branch of the Elora Environment Centre working to rebuild the community tree canopy through tree planting, stewardship, public education and advocacy about the need for, and value of trees.
