Eeyou Economic Group's mission is to deliver professional business services to Cree clients that will help foster economic development throughout Eeyou Istchee.
Eeyou Economic Group /CFDC Inc. (EEG) was created to provide independent, non-political community-based support services to emerging and existing Cree entrepreneurs.
Since its inception in 1987, the EEG has provided financial assistance to a number of Cree entrepreneurs who have used our services to develop or expand a business in Eeyou Istchee.
EEG is supported under certain conditions by Economic Development Canada and provides funding in the form of repayable loans to Cree entrepreneurs looking to start a new business or expand and/or modernize an existing business in Eeyou Istchee.
EEG recognizes that a new or growing business does more than just create an income for the owner and partners, it provides important job opportunities for community members.
