We are, E-Bots Robotics ~ people dedicated to bringing the world of programming, designing and building robots to children in Grade 2 -10.

We enable students to explore science, technology, engineering and math in a fun, hands–on way while allowing them to excel in their ability to problem solve, stimulate critical thinking, communicate and work in groups. Our intent is to create a life-long hobby with learning and play!

Welcome to the world of E-Bots where we offer instruction, exploration and competition through a number of different options that explore the world of robotics using the LEGO Mindstorms kits and VEX robotics. And don’t worry – convincing your parents will be easy!

Here’s the pitch to help you out! It’s educational! When you can learn by doing, you remember it better than if someone simply tells you! We will have you solving problems, being creative and working in teams. But don’t worry, we won’t tell your parents the most important reason - IT’S FUN!

Everyone starts with the basics. This will be something you haven’t had to do before with your other lego kits. You will have to learn how to program your robot to the design and the task the robot has to do. As you build your knowledge of these mechanisms and structures, you will be doing all of this with other kids who share this same interest you have.

After you've learned the basics, then what? Well, we have created all kinds of fun for you. Take a construction course, not to learn how to build with lego, you've been doing that for years, but to learn how to build a robot that moves. You can also try your skills at challenges where you have to design and build your own robot to complete challenges.
This wil give you an opportunity to compare your results with other children in a fun and competitive get together at the end of each session. You might eventually even buy your own Mindstorms kit and play with it at home or with friends.

If you like the competitive part of robotics so much then we also have FLL, First Lego League that happens Sept- Nov. every year. We sometimes refer to it as "REP LEGO" as it is a big dedication of your time and attention.

This year we have started with VEX I.Q. robotics which will give you a new opportunity to learn Robot-C and try working with this new robotics platform.
