To make a permanent, positive change in someone’s life is truly awesome. Being a part of my patients’ lives, although only for a short amount of time, is one of the best gifts I can be given professionally. Orthodontics allows me to do what I love for a living, but it also allows me to live a life with people who share a common focus of self-improvement, both on a personal and professional level.

The relationships established, the memories that are made, the involvement in my patients’ lives, and the smiles I get to see when it’s all complete—these reasons and so many more are why I love orthodontics!

It is my standard to exceed the required amount of continuing education as set out by each provincial licensing body. I am active in study clubs that focus on Invisalign® and participate in numerous continuing education programs with the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, Saskatchewan Society of Orthodontists, Alberta Society of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, Saskatoon Dental Society, and the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan. I am also a committed board member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists.

In the years since I graduated, I have taught at the undergraduate dental student level at the University of Saskatchewan, and at the graduate level at the University of Western Ontario.
