The Canadian National Institute of Health Inc. (CNIH) is established as a post-secondary institution offering a Dental Hygiene program recognized by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities, Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada, National Dental Hygiene Certification Board and the College of Dental Hygienist of Ontario. CNIH is the first Canadian private college to offers a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program recognized by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities, and the Canadian Medical Association.
CNIH was established in April of 2004 with the Dental Hygiene program as its primary program goal. In September 2013, the college relocated to the Lincoln Fields Mall in Ottawa, (27A-2525 Carling Ave, Ottawa, ON K2B 7Z2) in a newly renovated state-of-the-art building with amenities that include student lounge with Internet cafe and library, free parking and accessibility to the public transit hub and major highways.
