In 1991, the salon was opened by owner Abby Birbari with the desire to offer something new to clients. Classic Hair Design is situated in the Victorian Village of Waterdown and is only minutes from Burlington, Dundas and Hamilton. The salon is modern and open, making it inviting and comfortable. When entering the salon, you will be greeted by the salon mascot Bailey, the well trained yellow lab, combined with the fresh smell of popcorn making it an original place to visit.

After six years in the business, Abby ascertained that she had the vision and desire to offer more to her clients, so she opened her own salon in Waterdown; Classic Hair Design. Over twenty years later there have been many changes, as Abby is dedicated to keeping up with the latest processes and trends, but her vision remains intact; the salon is a reflection of her inherent friendliness, warmth and charm, making for a very comfortable environment and exciting experience. Abby's specialty is working with curly hair; based on personal experience, she knows how to help you tame your unruly locks to create a fabulous new look.
