My husband bought me a camera 3 years ago. I’ve been taking pictures ever since. I am a self taught Photographer. I make no pretences about having long photographic lineage or even having decades of experience - I don’t think that’s necessary. This is one of the few professions where your work speaks for itself. I’ve been through a lot in my lifetime thus far. The losses of my Father & Brother, followed by a difficult fight with Cancer, were arduous to say the least. But it is those experiences that really put things into perspective for me. I’ve always loved photography… but after everything I’ve been through, I’ve come to really value life, relationships, and all the moments in between. I love capturing the emotions of moment in my photos. During my difficult times it was those moments in time that kept me smiling. I hope only to capture those moments for others to enjoy like I so fondly do.
