Carrot River Watershed Agri-Environmental Group Plan - (306) 752-1270

CRVWA's AEGP assists producers with farm stewardship projects and works to protect and preserve the Carrot River Watershed through education and awareness.

The Carrot River Watershed is located in east central Saskatchewan and encompasses the following RMs: 401, 370, 369, 400, 399, 398, 430, 429, 428, 427, 426, 469, 458, 457, 456, 487, and 486. It includes the Lake Lenore Basin, which is a closed watershed.
In 2010, the Carrot River Watershed Agri-Environmental Group Plan was formed and received certification from PCAB to assist producers with applications to the Canada-Saskatchewan Farm Stewardship Program. Today, this AEGP operates as part of the Carrot River Valley Watershed Association. In addition to providing local producers access to cost-shared funding through the Farm Stewardship Program and Farm & Ranch Water Infrastructure Program, the AEGP also has an educational mandate and offers workshops, information sessions, and newsletters throughout the year.
