Camp Muskoka is a summer residential camp for boys and girls, aged 6 to 16 in Muskoka, Ontario
At Camp Muskoka, we believe that the magic of the camp experience starts with the sharing of a community; helping campers develop new skills while building self-esteem and developing leadership abilities, all while exploring the wonders of nature.
Campers have over 50 activities to choose from with a variety of options offered every program period. There are always passive, active and adventurous levels of activity. By offering our campers the opportunity to choose their own activities, each camper personally custom designs their own camp experience.
Campers always look forward to our exciting theme days. These weekly special events are magically memorable, creating a whirlwind of camp spirit. As a grand finale to each session, fantastic festivities such as water balloon games, a talent show, a formal dinner and a Karaoke Dance Party take place to celebrate the times we have shared.
Community living is a key component to the success of the Camp Muskoka experience. Teaching children the value of a “we” society as opposed to a “me” society is another initiative we strive for. “Many hands make light work” – campers will work together in community initiatives such as cabin clean up, serving meals, helping to tidy-up the dining hall after meals and setting up for special events.
For older campers, programs focus more on acquiring leadership and life skills, opening up future opportunities as leaders and counselors.
