Brock-Seaway Co-op is a 30 suite co-operative housing community located in the lovely north end of the City of Brockville
The Co-op is situated in the north end of Brockville on Dana Street. It consists of 25 3-bedroom and 3 4-bedroom semi-detached homes with large lots. We have families from all walks of life ranging from young couples, families and retired folks.
It is only a 25 minute walk from the 1000 Islands Mall and Thousand Island Secondary School. Kensington Plaza is a mere 5 minutes away as well as St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Brockville Collegiate Institutel and primary school students are all bused to their schools. The City Bus stops at the corner of Dana and Comstock Crescent.
Co-operative Housing emerged as a solution to the need of decent, affordable housing. Co-ops are non-profit and non-speculative. Each resident is a member of the Co-Op, which owns the project and leases the units back to the members at cost. All affairs of the Co-Op are democratically controlled by the members on the basis of one member, one vote.
