Vernon Artist of Metis decent originally from Manitoba . Works consist mostly of oil paintings, of which subjects are continually evolving .

Beryl Beaupre was raised and self taught in remote isolated communities of Northern Manitoba. Mid career she graduated her fine arts degree program in Alberta. Vernon is her home and she at times reaches back and touches upon her early experiences as an aboriginal artist her works range from spiritual impressionism to the animal kingdom; mother hood and feminism seem to dominate. Over the last 45 years, she has been an award winner , a collage instructor, had work published in an art book, multi talented not only in traditional mediums but in computer generated art as well.
