Welcome Beaufort Delta Petroleum Ltd! BDP is the newest Norterra owned company with operations based in the Inuvik region. Having purchased the former Arctic Dove Limited, including all of its assets and staff, BDP employees are long-time Northerners with decades of technical experience in the Inuvik region.
BDP’s operations base in Inuvik consists of a large bulk petroleum tank farm with storage capacity of Arctic Diesel, Gasoline, Jet A-1 and Avgas, to service the needs of BDP’s customers. BDP’s Aklavik base consists of a bulk petroleum tank farm that supports the community’s Diesel and Gasoline needs. BDP also owns and operates the Inuvik airport refuelling business. Bulk fuel is delivered annually using a marine resupply model. Additional volumes are trucked annually from Alberta and the Yukon.
BDP sells and transports bulk fuels, drummed fuels, and packaged lubricants to locations within the Mackenzie Delta Beaufort Coast region that has ice road or highway access.
BDP’s land equipment consists of multiple tri-axle tanker trucks and trailers which transport fuel from Alberta to the Inuvik region. BDP also provides home heating fuel to Inuvik area customers by way of regular trucked service.
