AquaDogs is a Canadian based canine aquatics show.
"For competitors, By competitors"
We pride ourselves on being the best in customer service.

Here is a little bit of information about how cool Aqua Dogs is and how it's going to change the way the game is played. We are changing the sport of dock diving as we know it. Based on three disciplines, we've taken a unique approach to how titles are earned and competitors recognized.

Each round of dock diving will cost $25. As a member, you will have access to additional discounts.

Now here's where things start to get different. The membership is for the dog and therefore anyone can jump your dog. Titles are in accordance to the dog's performance.

Below is a list and explanation of our disciplines:

Go Long - This is our long jumping competition. Judging is done electronically and Aqua Dogs allows two handlers on the launch pad. Your two qualifying jumps will be jumped in succession for each round. Titles are earned through the accumulation of the distance jumped per round. For example, if Fido jumps 15 feet on its first qualifying jump in round one and 14 feet in its second qualifying jump in round two, it would have earned its first title at 25 ft. The next title would be at 50 ft and so forth. Please see our website for more details on our titled.

Go High - This is our high jumping competition where an apparatus holds a bumper 8 feet out from the end of the dock. The goal is for the dog to either knock the toy down or grab it. The bumper will start at a height of 4'4" for dogs over 18" at the withers and will increase In 2" increments until the dog has two misses in succession at that height. Therefore if a dog misses once at any certain height, but grabs on the second attempt, he/she will carry on to the next height. Titles are earned much the same as Go Long, where your heights are cumulative to earn the next title. Having said that, the title is earned based on your highest jump achieved in that competition. First titles are earned at 3'.

Go Fetch - This is our speed challenge. A bumper will be set up on an apparatus at the end of the pool hanging 2" above the water. The idea is for a dog to run down the launch pad, jump into the pool and grab the bumper off the magnets. Of course this will be timed, but how does it start?? We have a light tree located above the apparatus holding the bumper. On the signal from the handler, the lights will count down: 3 yellow lights to a green light in a synchronized fashion. The time starts on green. The goal is to release your dog before the light turns green so that it crosses the laser, located at the end of the launch pad, at the exact moment the light turns green and the time starts. You can start your dog anywhere on the 40' launch pad. Titles, again cumulative, will be based on your time which will be converted to points.

3G - is the combination of all three disciplines based on a point system achieved per discipline.

LAP DOGS - will be recognized in two divisions. The first will be the TOY division and will be based on dogs measuring 12" and below at the withers. LAP DOG will be between 13 and 18" at the withers. Measurements will be done using a wicket by a qualified judge.

All three disciplines will recognize the LAP DOGS. LAP DOGS will compete only against other LAP DOGS. In the case of Go High, the bumper will be held out at 6' versus 8' and the bumper will start at a lower height (2' 6").
