624 RC(Air)C Squadron parades every Wednesday between 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in the auditorium at the Tisdale Recplex.
This program is for youths aged 12 to 18, with an accelerated rank/level program for youths starting a bit older. We train every Wednesday night with additional opportunities on occasional weekends. Uniforms, meals, and transportation from the unit are provided, as sponsored through DND. There is no expectation to join the military.
There are summer training opportunities of two, three, and six week courses in various locations across Canada. Cadets who have worked at the unit level can be sent to summer camp to obtain their glider and power pilot's licenses. These summer camps do not cost parents money, and in fact the youths receive money while in attendance.
