We are a youth program for teens 12-18. We provide drill, marksmanship, Seamanship, leadership and instructional technique classes (to name a few), all in a nautical environment.
This program is funded by DND, Local Navy League Branch and Local Sponsors.
We participate in Classes on Leadership, Instructional Technique, Marksmanship, Seamanship, History, Drill, Citizenship, Community Service and Physical Fitness. We have a Sailing weekend, A Nautical Weekend, A Seamanship Inter-Divisional Competition weekend, A Marksmanship Training Day and A Sports Day. We participate in the Remembrance Day cenotaphs in Devlin, Emo, Manitou Rapids, Barwick and Stratton.
Cadets have a opportunity to attend Summer Training Centres in Kingston, Ontario (HMCS Ontario) and Cornwallis, Nova Scotia (HMCS Acadia).
We meet in Emo at the Curling Rink, Tuesday Nights, 6:30 pm- 9:15pm, September-June
