Canoe, kayak and SUP rentals on the beautiful Rideau River in Kemptville. Lessons, fitness classes, SUPs, and kids day camp!

We rent canoes and kayaks from 286 Riverview lane all week long.. We offer lessons and paddle fitness class, canoe camps in the summer and we are more than willing to accommodate your needs. Give us a call ahead if you like. Happy Paddling!
Rentals Fees for canoes, kayaks and SUP

1 hr=$20
2 hrs=$30
½ day=$50
A ½ day is 5 hours. Longer rentals are available. Please inquire!
Paddle, PFD and required safety equipment supplied with all rentals. Sorry, no pets.


NEW! For advanced paddlers, Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) fit and lessons starting in July. Cost is $15.00 per fit and $60.00 per lesson. Call for details and to reserve!!!


Paddle Fit
Paddle Fit is a 75 minute long on-the-water fitness activity, using canoes or kayaks. We teach paddle techniques and group safety. All paddling and safety equipment is supplied by Drifters. Day and evening classes available. Call to reserve your spot!!! Canoe fit (2 per canoe) $12.00 per person per class; Kayak fit $15.00 per person per class
Tuesdays: 10am = Kayak; 3pm=Canoe; 6:30pm=Kayak
Wednesdays: 10am = Canoe; 3pm=Kayak; 6:30pm=Canoe
Thursdays: 10am = Kayak; 3pm=Canoe; 6:30pm=Kayak

Canoe and Kayak Summer Camps

Drifters Outdoors in cooperation with the Township of North Grenville has been offering summer camps for 4 yrs. Our summer camps are open to boys and girls ages 10-14. We offer canoe and kayaking instructions which include paddling techniques, water safety and rescue.

The Instructors here at Drifters Outdoors promote safe boating procedures and team work which is important in, on and around the water. All campers should be strong swimmers.
